Hi,

This is my first time on this site. I saw a news article about a 12yr old kid who built a snow machine and decided I need to build one. I am originally from WI where we get a lot of snow. Here in KY we have the cold, but seldom the snow. I am a pilot and a pretty handy guy. My neighbor is a tool maker with a lot of tools. Together we know just enough to be dangerous.

I looked at some plans for several snow guns. I am thinking of trying to build a Sue15b. Any suggestions, comments or concerns? If I do build this, where do I get the parts from? I would like to start building ASAP.

Thanks
Skiddy123

I live in the east end by the Summit. Have you made a gun. If so did you buy the parts locally or on line? I need a gun that will give me a path 20' x 400' x 2'for the hill behind my house. I would appreciate any advice.

Thats 16,000 cubic feet of snow, which is about 54,400 gallons of water. Your gonna need some serious snowmaking to cover that..

But before you buy pumps and crazy things, you should make a T-Gun first. You will find detailed instructions in the T-Gun section. After you master that, you can move up to a combo. :-)

After a harsh winter. I am playing catchup with things here.

How did your first winter go? With our Ice storm I got knocked out of making snow for the best part of winter.

With all the heat, I am ready for the snow now.
