Hey All
A good friend of mine got me interested in this snowmaking stuff.

My first attempt I broke the gun when the pressure washer fired up and the ladder went over backwards. This was an AM try.

Mid-afternoon got gun repaired and started making snow(really ice) and continued for the next 4.5 hrs.

It was great, and the kids loved it!!

Thanks for all the great info on this website.

Congrats on your first snow (ice?). If you get a chance, snap a few pictures... we love pictures here. Bounce

The number 1 mistake of new snowmakers is to run the nuc mixture too rich (too much water). This will almost definitely lead to wet snow or ice. Do a search on 'glove test' for a few opinions on how to test your nuc mixture. It also could have simply been your temperature, but I figured I'd throw in a tip in case it helps.

Wanted to post pics, but couldn't figure out HOW?
Sent some to my friend, and he said I need to open up my needle valve and add more water to create a better nuc. Wet-bulb was 23 Temp 26

Thanks for the "glove test" advice. I'll check it out.
