heyy my name is lucas i live in Ri i am 13

i have done the hole snow at home thing and lost alot of money there...not going back there again. came here to learn alot about snow makeing and to beable to realy understand it. i snowboard at gore in NY and go there almost every weekend in the winter (4 hour trip) We might be moving there. i am currently in the prosses of makeing my first fan gun. i had bout a fan (2000 cfm) and i went to test it and hardly moves...so i have to get another one and my money back hopefully.

and once you get to know me i am a realy bad speller!!

Welcome to the forum! You won't be disappointed in this board. You will however, most likely end up regretting your SAH purchase even more, but that's all said and done and moved on from. There's a wealth of information here, from people who practically pioneered home snowmaking to professional snowmakers. Glad to have you aboard!

One small recommendation: Familiarize yourself with the shift key. We aren't terribly picky about grammar around here, but putting a capital letter at the beginning of each sentence makes peoples' posts MUCH easier to read, and it will save you grief down the road. Trust me.

I have made snow for 1 winter and this is going to be alot better winter.I allready know i paid to much. When i whent to NY i found (think they call them T jets) for 2$ so i spent 60$ for 2 so i know i have learned a lesson.

They are so disliked around here that if you try to type snow at home as one word, the way it is found in their website, it censors it out. see? www.**********.com hehe

Haha do you know if SNS is any good i have seen alot of youtube stuff on them but thats it. The only thing i like about SAH is The weather tool

I believe SNS is (or was) one of our members here. From what I've heard, they will make kits optimized to your needs and equipment, instead of just selling you something you don't even know will work with your equipment.

either way, now that you're here, there's NO need to buy anything but parts.

if you read around here a bit, u should be able to build yourself a nice snowgun.
The information is all here, its just sometimes a little tricky to put it all together at first.
would def. check out the stickys and guides first. you'll learn alot.

I have printed all 50 pages of nozzles and other snow makers so im gana be very actice with the reading and ask some questions on things i dont get

Welcome! Great to have some next generation snow makers on here My sons are 12 and 9 and love to help out when snow making weather approaches, but I have to hand it to you for taking the reigns and taking the lead!

Yea still got some years in front of me before i realy get to start doing the realy cool stuff (sheds pumps and big fan guns!!!) I have started a 14 inch fan gun. I have the stand and the barrel made but i want to take my first fan gun slow so i do break anything of get zaped again. Right now im in the prosses of makeing a combo gun and was trying to get some ideas and help on that but overall i am happy the way things are going
