Oh wow, a place like this exists?! How cool! I'm from East Pa. and have been making snow for years (nothing huge). It started awhile back when my old neighbor, who hates snow, made a bet that we wouldn't get more than 30" of snow in a given winter. The bet was a case of good beer. March 25th rolls around and we were at 29". I quickly made up a contraption one night and blew 1" of slush on his front porch. He gave me a case anyway. Currently I have a home made home depot gun with an old 10cfm compressor that blows about 2" of good snow an hour. That all is going to be sold as i just acquired a 125cfm 302ci powered Grimmer Schmidt and a Debilviss 120v fan powered aftercooler. I'll be construcing a new gun(s) for this compressor and prob. going to bump-up my water pressure via a small electric pressure washer. I won't be building all this until next fall, but would like to hear comments on the type of guns that will work best with this set-up. I look forward to being active on here, thanks in advance!!

Yeah it is Big Grin I built a 1/2 iron pipe gun, in a semi-Y fashion by simply cutting and welding it together. I then used a cap with a die grinder slit in it. Works well enough, but i know i can do allot better. I also have a Snow Gun from some Western ski resort, but i'm not sure i have enough water to make it work.
