Hello Snow-Friends, I am Sebastian from south Germany working for the indoorsnow company "InnovagSnowSystems". Our company is spesialised in the development of snowsystems for Indoor Ski-Domes and Snow Themeparks. Next to the indoor snowmaking we are supplier for the well-known company TechnoAlpin where I got my education. Normally we have enough snow in southern Germany and also large amounts of snowguns. As I will move to a city in northern Germany I decided to built my own snowgun. In Northern Germany the snow situation is critical but we have enough periods of cold temperatures. In the german speaking area we have also a big web forum for all themes around skiresorts, wintersports technique etc. One topic is snowmaking with sections about "homemade snowguns". You can see it here: http://alpinforum.com/forum/vi...dd999fa39cb4d8445227 (sorry it´s german language I am looking forward to exchange informations and knowledge with you If somebody has questions about indoor snowmaking (different to outdoor snowmaking) or the products of InnovagSnowSystems please let me know. You can also ask me about european "commercial snowmaking" if it´s interesting for you. I guess there are big differences between snowmaking in Europe and America / Canada. Sending you the best regards from Germany Sebastian P.S. Sorry for my bad english InnovagSnowSystems - german snowmaking handcraft

There's not that many differences between snowmaking in the US and Europe... it all works the same, we just have different styles. _____________________________________________________________ Cowboy Snowmaker

Of course the principles are the same but in the most countries of central Europe, Energy is very expensive and you will not find much high-pressure systems. InnovagSnowSystems - german snowmaking handcraft

Hi Sebastian, Welcome on the snowguns forum. Your english is quit good so don't worry too much about that! I am quit interested in the fact that you work with/for TechnoAlpin since they are my favorite snowmaking company out there! I follow their work and progress with alot of enthusiasm. Hopefully you can learn alot from us and we from you. Your neighbor, Maarten Amsterdam, The Netherlands PS: By the way have seen this report? http://bachler.cms1.ch/Portals...e_for_snowmaking.pdf (unfortunately as you can see in the report TechnoAlpin got beat by it's competitor Areco in both efficiency (kwh/m3) and snow quality (kg/m3)
