Just saying Hi. Been here for about a week. Reading. Reading more. Almost ordered some parts today. First I thought I would check to see if I got things right. so I got a few beginning questions.
With a TEE gun there is no advantage to a Nozzle over a pipe cap drilled? Also for a SM4 or other gun. Instead of pipe and fittings for the misting. Would there be a disadvantage of getting some small square tubing. SS preferably. And weld in caps and Bungs, or thread holes in them for the nozzle, Water inlet, and valve to the nuc nozzle? Only use a T at the bottom for the air. Anyone in Cincy making snow. know anyplace local to get nozzles and parts? |

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the SM4. Teejet nozzles, which are threaded, are what most people use for combo guns.
You can use a pipe cap just as easily on a t-gun as you can a Teejet. I made snow with Fogg-It .5 GPMs and all I got was this lousy sig! |

No disadvantage. Maybe a bit more difficult to build but it would look better/cleaner than pipe fittings.

I was talking about building all the Blue area as one piece. I couldn't find out if there was a flow issue if it was made to big or small. I thought it may give even pressure to both nozzles.

you could use a manifoild there is a port on the bootom and top put the water in the top and but you t at the botom with the air could work well i could see this working with out wter pressure though
tierd of my snow melting in 90 degree weather |

Overly obssesed with snow |
McMaster has lots of manifolds and they're relatively cheap... try that...
From cinci eh? Not the best place for good snowmaking temps... but still ok. |

I don't think using a manifold would help performance much, but it would certainly look cleaner. If you make your manifold yourself you could put your nozzles exactly where you want them, instead of where the pipes fit.
